When players are playing Reign of Giants (RoG) or Don’t Starve Together (DST) they will be able to collect 50 naughtiness points by slaying Glommer, who is only available on a Full Moon. The following are all the mobs that provide players with any amount of naughtiness. CREATURES THAT RAISE A PLAYER’S NAUGHTINESS METERĪs Krampus can be summoned as early as collecting 31 naughtiness, players will want to be a bit more cautious of which mobs they kill, especially in rapid succession. The only other way to get a Krampus Sack is by defeating Klaus and acquiring it from a Loot Stash (DST), which only has a 10% chance. While players may think that 14 inventory slots aren’t a big deal, especially since the Piggyback has 12 inventory slots, the Krampus Sack does not slow down players while walking, further proving how overpowered this item really is.īack to the fact that Krampus Sacks are not flammable though… Since Krampus Sacks are really the only important item players can receive for securing a takedown, players can essentially use magic weapons like Fire Staffs or Fire Darts in order to safely and easily kill Krampus, without the fear of important items being set ablaze as truthfully… there aren’t any important items that can be set ablaze! Krampus does have a 1% chance to drop a Krampus Sack which is by far one of the most beneficial items in the game, though players will have to do a lot of Krampus grinding if they hope to get one.Ī Krampus Sack has a total of 14 inventory slots and cannot be placed in a player’s inventory or chest, though the biggest benefit to using a Krampus Sack is the fact that it cannot be set on fire, making it the ultimate storage compartment for bases. ![]() Krampus is an interesting mob as he doesn’t really drop that many items, being limited to 1 Monster Meat, 2 Charcoal and any of the items he steals (as long as he is killed before he disappears.) It should also be noted that Krampus can enter shops and the player’s home in Hamlet (HAM), so players should be extra cautious with their goodies. It should be noted that if a Shipwrecked (SW) or Don’t Starve Together (DST) player tries to summon Krampus while on a Boat, Krampus will spawn immediately once the player kills the next creature on land. Upon Krampus being summoned, a player’s naughtiness level will reset back to 0, though a player’s naughtiness level will also reduce by 1 naughtiness per minute (equal to one-eighth of an in-game day.Ī player will know they have summoned Krampus if they hear a hissing noise, though there is a Mod you can activate that will let you know. Naughtiness can be gauged on a scale from 0 to 50 and Krampus will be summoned once players reach between 31 and 50 naughtiness. HOW KRAMPUS IS SUMMONEDĪs mentioned, Krampus will spawn into The Constant based on how much naughtiness the player generates when killing certain mobs (which are listed below) or by murdering them in your inventory. Let it be known that Krampus exists in all versions of Don’t Starve including Hamlet (HAM), Shipwrecked (SW), Reign of Giants (RoG) and the beloved Don’t Starve Together (DST). Krampus, who oddly enough has a plural form of “Krampii” is a neutral mob that is summoned if players kill enough passive or kind mobs (think Rabbit!) For folks who like to smack around the cuties in The Constant, you may (or may not) be happy to know that there is a hidden mechanic to help discipline your mean asses.
